Let’s begin our morning experience at N’Orlins Beignets & Coffee. Hot and freshly made just for you. You will savor these decadent light and crispy treats as you sip a hot coffee made with love. If you’re up for something extraordinary, you will be given a chance to explore your palate with Gator Bites! All these unique treats have sauces that are creatively paired with you in mind. Pace yourself as we wander to the historic Bavarian Inn Restaurant where more than 20 million guests have visited since 1988! Upon entering, you will be immersed in their unique German atmosphere which is reflected in their Bavarian style architecture and costumes. You will meet Hans our renown, mysterious and popular Frankenmuth resident and partake in Bavarian style family recipes that are made with fresh ingredients. Our next stop will give you a one of a kind behind the scenes experience of the diversified homemade, domestic, and imported cheeses and spreads that Frankenmuth Cheese Haus has to offer our guests. Your taste buds will be intrigued with the distinctive tastes of these incomparable cheeses and spreads. Upon our departure, we will stop for a quick photo with our very own famous Cheese Haus Mouse, Klaus. Moving south as we sway to T-Dubs Pizzeria & Pub which was named after T.W. Johnston AKA “T-Dubs” who was known for exuding warmth, hospitality, and quality customer service. You will devour their unique selection of award-winning comfort-foods that will cause your mouth to salivate and leave you wanting more of their homemade eats. Cheers to our grand finale as we gather at Prost Wine Bar & Charcuterie, a casual rustic-chic wine bar setting, for warm conversations and the experience of enjoying specialty meats and cheeses on a beautifully displayed charcuterie board.

Our next visit is the location where the first restaurant meals were served in Frankenmuth. The legendary Zehnder’s Restaurant gets its inspiration from Mount Vernon. Here you will indulge in Zehnder’s' delicious family style signature dishes and capture memorable snapshots in front of what’s believed to be one of the longest continually used neon signs in existence. Let the sensational smells of tasty treats lead you to our next experience, Zak & Mac’s Chocolate Haus where customers are treated like family. Enjoy irresistible, world-renowned chocolates and toffee that will tease you to coming back again and again. You’ll want to take these savory confections back to your family and friends! Cheers! It’s time to buzz to Prost Wine Bar and Charcuterie, a rustic chic setting that gives you that true European feeling. We will savor specialty meats and cheeses as we bask in warm conversations. TOURS MUST BE BOOKED 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.
Flavors of Frankenmuth Tours must each have a minimum of 4 people booked. Maximum of 12.
Tours are for ages 14 and older.
Wear comfortable walking shoes!
Please be courteous to others and arrive early. Check-in is 15 minutes prior to scheduled tour time.
We will depart on schedule. Late arrivals are subject to missing their first tour stop.
Tours are rain, snow or shine so please come prepared dressed for the weather and weather changes. You may want to bring an umbrella.
Bring cash for tour guide gratuity ($10 pp average)
Bring cash or credit card for items you may want to purchase.

Celebrate the day after the Bites & Banter Tour with an evening enjoying a flight of wine and chocolate tasting at St. Julian Winery and Distillery, Michigan’s longest running winery. Their award-winning and internationally recognized wines are made using innovative wine-making techniques. St. Julian is also Michigan’s first craft distillery producing some of the finest spirits, many made from grapes. As you quench your palate with their exclusive wines, each paired with chocolate, you will give tasting notes and do the Five S’s - See, Swirl, Smell, Sip, and Savor! So, come join us as we conclude our tour and spend bonus time together with old and new friends!
